Frequently asked questions
What counts as a contact?
Every person in your directory — members and guests alike. A one-off regatta entrant counts the same as a member. When you clear out an old event list, those contacts free up again.
Can I send to people who aren't members?
Yes. Add them as guests and create a list, for example "Wednesday Series 2026". The sendout only goes to that list.
How do I get my member list in?
Upload a CSV file with names and emails. Sailnotice recognises the columns automatically. Direct connections to common membership systems are on the way.
Is there any lock-in?
No. The free plan stays free for as long as you want. Paid plans are billed once a year and you can cancel any time — you keep your data.
What if we outgrow the free plan?
You'll see it coming in Settings, where a bar shows contacts used. Move up to Club (€129/year, 400 contacts) whenever it suits — nothing is sent or deleted in the meantime.
What if I want a refund?
New subscriptions come with a 14-day money-back guarantee — email support@uncodemedia.com and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked. After that, cancel anytime and you keep access until the paid year ends; we don't refund the unused portion.
